Liberty Latin America Ltd. (NASDAQ: LILA and LILAK, OTC Link: LILAB) has announced the sale of its stake in WOW Tel S.A.C. to America Movil Peru S.A.C., a subsidiary of America Movil.
WOW Tel S.A.C. is a fixed broadband internet service provider in Peru, in which Liberty Latin America acquired a minority stake in 2021 and subsequently made additional investments.
The transaction is pending regulatory approval from Peru's National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property (INDECOPI).
