H2O America (NASDAQ: HTO) has announced that its subsidiaries, The Texas Water Company, Inc. and Texas Water Operation Services, LLC, along with Quadvest, have secured necessary regulatory approvals to finalize their asset acquisition agreements.
The agreements involve the acquisition of all assets owned by Quadvest, a regulated water and wastewater utility in the Houston metro area.
The transactions are scheduled to be completed on October 1, 2026, marking a significant expansion of H2O America's operations in Texas.
This strategic move aims to diversify and strengthen H2O America's regulated utility operations across the U.S., particularly in the rapidly growing Houston area.
“We are pleased to have received the regulatory approvals necessary to move forward with this acquisition and are grateful to everyone who helped us reach this milestone,” said Andrew F. Walters, chief executive officer of H2O America. “TWC has built a strong foundation under the leadership of President Aundrea Williams, and we are excited about what the addition of Quadvest and its team will mean for all of our stakeholders."
