Fortinet (NASDAQ: FTNT), a leader in cybersecurity, has acquired Virtue AI, a company specializing in AI runtime protection and automated AI validation.
The acquisition enhances Fortinet's Security for AI strategy, aiming to secure autonomous AI systems and the agentic enterprise.
This move builds on Fortinet's existing AI security solutions, such as the FortiGate Hyperscale Firewall.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed, but Fortinet stated the amount is immaterial to its business.
