Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMRX) has successfully completed its acquisition of Kashiv BioSciences, LLC, positioning itself as a global leader in the biosimilars market.
The merger integrates Kashiv's expertise in biologics research, development, and manufacturing with Amneal's commercial capabilities, significantly enhancing its Affordable Medicines business.
This strategic move establishes biosimilars as a key growth area for Amneal, expanding its reach and capabilities in the pharmaceutical industry.
Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC acted as the financial advisor, while Richards, Layton & Finger, P.A. provided legal counsel to the Committee of Independent Directors of Amneal's Board.
The acquisition is expected to drive long-term growth and strengthen Amneal's position in the global market.
